Designed for a young girl’s study area, the shelving was supposed to bring in character and color to the space. The composition was derived by first arranging the hexagons together, and then extruding some to form shelves. The remaining flat surfaces are designed as a combination of magnet boards and pinboards. Pastel shades are used in paints and fabric. A highlight of polished teak is used to complement the surrounding desk and cabinets.
